Honestly don't know. I think some people do it because they're not happy with their appearance, and then they get obsessed with plastic surgery.

Some nightmare faces there, to be sure.

I thought that Michael Jackson looked great after a leeeetle surgery (around Thriller time) but unfortunately he couldn't leave a good job well alone.
