Brighton Most Dog Friendly

Just heard that Brighton has been voted Great Britain's most dog friendly city. Only guide dogs are allowed on the pier though but designated sections of beaches are dog friendly between 1st May and 30th September, the rest of the year all beaches are dog friendly. Well done Brighton.

Tynemouth beach near me is like that with designated areas during that time period. Tynemouth village has a few dog friendly bars where you can get food too which makes a great day out

That's good to hear, I want to take Zeus to the beach when the weather picks up, as hes never been around water like that, so will pay a trip down there!

shame that's the only half decent place to walk the dogs though, tbh Eastbourne is 10 times better as there are woods,lakes, a longer beach (same dates) beachy head! oh and dog fields out here.

and its only 20 down the road too.

We're lucky the beach we take our to the whole beach is dog friendly all year round. Its at Seaton Sluice, which is the next beach up from Tynemouth. Near here there are a lot of good beaches and they all have some dog friendly bits.
