Still no progress, my mushrooms don't want to grow, yes they are kept in the dark but I was supposed to see something after 6 days

Day 6 today, but I posted that before I checked and I have the weird mould stuff starting to appear (yes thats normal so the box said)! Maybe just maybe I may get some mushroom action

Yeah its always fascinating! haha. My muck heap always has loads of mushrooms and sometimes if there is a random hidden poo in the stable i come in to find mushrooms! Not sure they are edible though

Well she collapsed yesterday think dried out too much in the window so I moistened her and she is now in the greenhouse. In fact I haven't looked at her today she may be all shrivelled up now!

Mate you need to be looking after that bush!

Janey, you have tempted me to give mushrooms another go. Last time I tried them I couldn't get past the mould stage, maybe they weren't warm enough. But I did get a lot, a LOT, of those tiny flies called no-see-ums.

No see ems, do you mean they aren't gonna grow

Well, I didn't see any mushrooms either Janey! But it could be that that was because I got driven mad by the swarms of tiny, bitey, annoying like hell little flies and chucked the lot in the bin!

I did once grow some mushrooms successfully, but they were the shi-take kind, which I found a bit too slimey for me, but they grew like billy-o. Oh and they had flies as well.
