So proud of my pooch

The pooch and I have just been on a lovely walk where we met a farmer looking guy with 5 dogs all on rope and chain leads:
- A pug with one eye
- A blind spaniel
- A young black lab
- And two JRT

This guy absolutley adored Shéara and kept on telling me he was a credit to me Commenting on how amazing his coat it and what fantastic condition he was in overall, he asked me if ive had him in any competitions for most handsome etc.etc.etc... how long do i walk him for, would i get another etc.etc.etc....

Then he told me he has 26 dogs....living outside

We walked with him and Shéara was so well behaved...almost like he forgot they were there, and we bumped into a fellow staff that Shéara always says hello to, it was just a really nice walk with no problems at all apart from the above comment playing on my mind

Wow, he can't possibly look after them all properly.

I know right! This lab was slightly underweight and he avoided my question when i asked why the pug only had one eye. They were quite cautious of Shéara as well, if they lived with so many dogs they should be ok with others right?

I dunno....something just wasnt quite right.

If they all live together then it's totally unnatural & I bet they fight.

Your probably right! I hope i bump into him again, ill try ask some more questions. Ive never seen him round here before either.

26, jeez, you'd need loads of help for that amount of dogs. Still, those are great comments he had to say about Sheara, and brilliant that he was so well-behaved, well done to you and him
