D'OH

My oh just shoved the oven on for dinner an started to smells something strange.....opened up the oven an there was a defrostin vaccum bag of the dogs chicken mince melting to the bottom of the oven!!!
Ooooppppsssss!!!!
Totally forgot that when I'd popped out to the shop I'd stuck it in the oven so they couldn't smell it defrost in an jump up!!! Wats worse is even when I was making their dinner an thought that's weird if not got enough I just nipped into the freezer an got them out sum chicken wings!! Hahahaha honestly who said blondes r dumb?!
Lucky he noticed the smell!

Needless to say they were going mental trying to get in the kitchen as hidden under the smell of melted plastic there was a smell of cooked chicken mince an had to keep the oven open to air it out!
Least the dogs don't mind when I burn their dinner!! Lol

In the olden days I used to get "pet mince" from the local butcher (remember them?) and it smelt vile.

I'll bet a lot of us, old or young, blonde or brunette, have dined on poulet au plastique, an unforgettable experience.

Recipe:- buy a chicken. Thaw if necessary. Bung it in the oven. Approx 2 hours later (depending on size of chicken and temp of oven) remove from oven, carve and serve with veggies of choice. Savour the tang of the plastic bag of giblets that you didn't think to look for in the body cavity.
