Bacon A.K.A. the Incredible Hulk

So, Bacon's got a yeast infection in one of his ears. My task was to hold him still so I can put ointment in his ear. My first method was to try and bear hug him while my brother applied the ointment. It ended up taking me and one other person to hold him down. The second time was even harder and we couldn't hold him down. I ended up opting for a much gentler approach that worked better anyways! Day 1 of ear medicine application was hell. Only two more weeks to go.

I'm a big guy and Bacon completely overpowered me and my brother today. I knew he was strong, but today I was in disbelief!!! Poor guy, every time I go to pet him now he runs away because he thinks I have that bottle of ointment.

Aww >< for bacon, darcy has cream put on her toes and she can overpower me I just, sit her on the side now tell her to sit, give her a treat and apply happy days, good luck on day 2

Hope he gets better soon When we have to give Suki drops we wait until she is asleep until we apply them and only do one ear at a time

Spike never had that problem with ear drops, but try and give him his yearly jab and they have to have him in a head lock with me and the OH on his body cause he is that strong, first time we took him the vet ended up jabbing herself instead of spike he was shaking that much, stick a needle in his bum not a care in the world, go for the scruff and all he'll breaks loose x

it's suprising how much raw power these guys have when they need it. best of look with the other times you have to apply it and hope it clears up soon

His ear is getting better. No more wrestling for me. I just try to go in quick and get as much as I can in there and massage it around. That' s the best I can do!!!
