Game of Thrones
Put it in the Back Yard because of the nature of the programme. It's very controversial, so.
But yeah. Does anybody here watch it?

Re: Game of Thrones
What makes it controversial? I haven't watched it yet, but keep meaning to

Re: Game of Thrones
I will at some point but I can't be arsed yet. Know a few of the people who've been in it though, it's very local.

Re: Game of Thrones
Unless you know Sean Bean, I'll stick with my Eastenders friends!
Controversial: Swearing (including and not limited to frequent f bombs and slightly less frequent C You Next Tuesdays), heavy nudity (example, boobs pretty much every episode and sometimes penis), incest, breast feeding, rape, gory scenes, etc..

Re: Game of Thrones
It's very good. Took me by surprise when I first started watching it, as I hate that word and don't do well with violence and blood. I decided to stick it out though and it was worth it.
Warning - some scenes are disturbing. There's also what would technically be classed as paedophilia/statutory rape nowadays. In the time it's set in, it would have been normal. The actors are all of age though.

Read the series and so I don't find it too shocking. Lol. Some of the stuff is a bit much for people if they don't know what to expect I would think.

Yeah, me too! I hated him at first, but he's actually quite sweet.
I was cringing at the scene with Theon though! Hope he didn't actually lose his erm... Spoiler.

Re: Game of Thrones
Serves him right, really, but I do feel sorry for him.
Hmm... Tyrion Lannister is hilarious, so I love him. I also quite like Jaime now. Jon Snow as well.
I have quite a morbid fascination with Joffrey. Interesting to see what twisted things he'll do next!
Used to love Eddard/Ned Stark, but of course... Sean Bean's character died. How unusual.

Joffrey nooooo he's awful
I love Tyrian too, he's my favourite, soooo funny
Also really like Danerys (spelt right?!) she's got dragons!!! (maybe I'm just jealous!!)
I did really like Arya but her story line is a bit boring this season!!
It will be finished soon They should do more episodes!

Re: Game of Thrones
Joffrey's a good villain though!
Good ol' Peter Dinklage. Always plays good characters!
Oooh, actually yeah! I love the parts with Daenerys and her dragons! I was really sad when Drogo died.
Arya's quite good. Better than Sansa.
Noooo! It can't finish!

Same here I laughed when her creepy brother died though. That was funny.
Aww, I love Brienne and Jamie together. If they don't end up with each other, I will definitely cry!

Re: Game of Thrones
Ewww, that was nasty. No wonder Joffrey's so screwed up! Inbred little creep, he is. And yeah, she's actually really pretty! I was surprised!
Awful but amazing. I'll admit, I didn't expect Drogo to be so creative. I assumed he'd just cut off his head or slit his throat. When they put the gold into the cauldron, I was like" No... They're not... Are they? Oh my God, they are! Woooaaaahhh! That's horrible! I should close my eyes... This will be horrible... Noo, I have to look!"

Re: Game of Thrones
I was quite surprised about the twist with Jaime as the Kingslayer as well. The arrogant, smug pretty boy who screws his sister saved half a million lives and let everybody think he was a cruel murderer.

Re: Game of Thrones
Yeah that was wierd, they're opening up more layers to him!!
Have you read the books? I hear there quite hardgoing! I usually like to either read the book or watch the program/film, not both!

Re: Game of Thrones
Have you noticed they show pretty much every woman in the programme naked, but the only main character we've seen fully naked is Theon Greyjoy? And he wasn't exactly well-endowed!

I know That was told right at the start of the series.
I'm going to buy the books later. I prefer books to television anyway.

Just saw yesterday's episode! Loved the part between the white walker and Sam.
I hope Gendry doesn't die though! Love him! He and Arya have to be together. Bit unfortunate about the leeches...

I watch it online
I like Gendry, but I thought he'd be able to see through the Red Priestess' tricks. I think Theon will be killed off in tomorrows' episode. Can hardly keep him around after what he just lost!
Ooh, that guy was strange! I don't like him yet, but he's interesting!
