Fantastic Day!
What a beautiful day its been
There was no way I was sitting in on my day off to I dragged my oh and pooch to the beach. We had such an amazing walk, a few pulls here and there but overall Shéara walked really good on the leash even when dogs, bikes and people went by.
He's not experienced the water much so kept running away when the waves came in, we wanted to let him go in in his own time so we left him be. Furthur down the beach there were two retrievers running in and out of the sea chasing rocks that their owner was throwing in for them and Shéara was pulling like mad to go play, after speaking to the owner we let Shéara off and he dived into the sea, and i mean dived, head right under! I couldnt belive how brave he was! Unfortunatly we didnt really have enough hands to take photos which im gutted about There was a dog walking past on the lead right next to us and to my surprise Shéara showed no interest what so ever, he was to focused on the next rock to be thrown into the water!
We carried on and came across an ice cream van so we treated ourselves, Shéara included, but of course he wanted mine not his own
After dropping the pooch at home for a rest, we headed back out to the beer garden for a few and a very berry ice cream sundae On our way back, a little tipsy, we stopped of at Tesco and got him a bone and a chicken to mix into his kibble with veg as well.
And now the oh and the pooch are fast asleep, so im spending evening on here with you lovely people
Think we're all going to sleep well tonight!

Re: Fantastic Day!
Sounds like a really brilliant day out, everyone's dogs seem to be on their best behaviour, must be the heat definitely makes for wonderful days though

Re: Fantastic Day!
Sounds like a perfect day Kita. Mine wasn't so exciting (no beach!) but strolling along a quiet river bank with the leaves bursting out, birds singing and butterflies fluttering, all in perfect weather made it a good to be alive day for Kuchar and me.

This sounds like a lush day out Everyone seems right in saying this weather is making the doggies behave and is putting everyone in really good moods!

Re: Fantastic Day!
I think we all appreciate this sudden burgeoning of nature, feel good factors and glorious weather (not too hot, not too windy - just perfect) all the more after our 6 month winter. These perfect days are rare unfortunately, and so are all the more enjoyed.
