Raw Food as Treats?
I was just wondering if feeding something now and again would cause any issues if it's just as a special treat? For example, if Loki is only on dry food, but I give him some...I don't know, ribs...as a rare treat, would it be OK or would his stomach not be able to handle it because he's not used to it?

Yep as treats it's fine don't feed it in the same meal as his dry food
Try chicken for the first time before going more adventurous with ribs and that, try wings or legs so her gets used to crunching the bones

Cool, thanks Ella and Lisa, perhaps but I'm just asking for in the future so I know. Wasn't sure weather it'd cause issues or not.

No, they're fine with it, Loki's had raw chicken loads of times with no problems I suggest you have a read of these links, a few of our members feed a RAW diet, very healthy for their dogs. Just so you know more about it, because sounds like you have a few questions:

The chicken won't poison him, no. Dogs have very strong digestive juices meant to kill bacteria quickly. Provided the meat is fresh and clean, there shouldn't be a problem.
