opening market stall

what would you sell?

me i would sell free range eggs hey you may laugh but there market stall in my areas makes £££££

I would sell my home made cakes, they usually sell OK on a market stall

good idea

fresh cobs sell well also

I'd open a little bakery stall.

I'm a potato man at the moment (yes stereotype haha) so I'd do that

you cant just open potato stall you would have to open fruit and veg stall silly

home made dog treats, and home made lip butters, soaps, bathbombs, it would be a little natural store

Am hoping to do it next summer at the farm festival down the road

In Ireland there are stalls everywhere just selling potatoes lol! As a country we depend very highly on it tbh

A little veggie stall to sell the excess produce off our allotment!

Plus, I'd take up drawing again & sell my drawings.

That's why the potato famine was so bad on us. We are just a loada country folk sitting around drinking and eating mashed potato!

Maybe make things like wooden kids toys and wooden dog puzzels and sell them. Basically wooden crapp

I watched a programme once on Potatoes and couldnt believe how many sorts there were!

Id sell my handcrafted cards

I think a welsh cakes stall cooking them fresh there and then!

There's 100's maybe 1000's different potatoes tbh. And every one is very different from the next one.

There are potato breeders and everything, potato crossbreeds.

Red potatoes are the most expensive. English people like a breed called Desiree, but the Irish don't really eat them. The Irish Red Potato is called Rooster.

i would more than happy to pay more for red, everything you do with red tasted better

So when I buy Roosters thats where they are from is it? They are ruddy nice for chips!

Red potatoes are a lot nicer. It's strange though because in England people used Red for chips but in Ireland it's only White. Red is only used for mash/bakers.

Mmm Maybe but they are the same family as a potato so maybe you shouldnt be eating those either. My Nephew has an allergy to potatoes and tomatoes not a nice reaction.

I eat chips all the time, can't see the issue in them at all tbh.

A farm market stall would do very well.

I could never give up chips , would make Mcdonalds so boring (for people that don't know french fries are just skinny chips nomatter what they are called) and most importantly I wouldn't have anything to pair up with my 2 fried eggs fro my favourite meal

Walking Blue yesterday and a couple of young kids on bikes stopped and asked why Mcdonalds was. Seriously one kid was about 6 stone overweight. Was close to saying I'll tell you, but you better order the salad

They should definitely have a weight limit on entry , like Taybarns not good for business or the clients

SBT Niceboard don't do markets but if they did they would probably be the best market stalls in the world.

I have only ever been to McDonalds once or twice. They do a Veggie Deli thing which is beaut and their coffee is really nice too.

I love them Veggi Deli wraps, with mayo and sweet chilli sauce and crisp salad mmmmm....thats lunch sorted

They are pretty great. Might venture out for one later

As for a market stall - probably take up painting pottery; or homemade doggy treats...bit of a difference
