Anco Roots ??

Anybody tried them ?? being billed as a tough alternative to stag bars

might try Tilly on one , she does like stick chewing but never really taken to a stag bar

They are intriguing and I'll watch to see what people say about them, my main concerns are a) I'd like to know what tree they come from as I like to know what my dog is chewing/digesting where possible and b) the sizes, i'm concerned he may choke on them as they look quite round. But I'm keen to see what the dogs make of them and owners opinions are.

I ordered a half fallow antler for Densil as I can't get him interested in his stag bar. He has paid a bit more attention to it, so will see how it goes. I have ordered a large root for him and will report back on what happens.

Densils anco root arrived today - got him the large one. He is happily gnawing at it and has managed to get some small shavings off it - just hope it is ok for him to swallow - have posted a message on their facebook page. Have taken a video and will try and post it in that section

got a reply on facebook and they say it is fine for him to chew off small pieces and even eat them - although he hasn't bothered to do this. More messy than the stag bar, but he seems to like it better, probably because he can get bits off it, lol.

Oh! Wonder if I can get that here! We go through stag bars like candy on Halloween!
