Post by Steveb Thu May 02 2013, 14:01

I've posted up before pictures of our dogs and rabbits together but took this picture today of Roxy (rabbit) in the garden - caught her laying like a Staffie lol

Teddy thought it was a good idea and joined her.

Thought I'd share - hope you are all enjoying the good weather.

Really enjoying the weather here, bright sunshine and quite warm almost thought it was spring earlier.

Lovely pics there, thanks for sharing.

Great pics. Why can't the media report on this facet of the staffy nature?
Answer: It's not sensationalist enough to be newsworthy.

No neither Teddy or Bella chase either rabbit (we have two Roxy and Elvis). They never have done although they sometimes play which is lovely to see. But most of the time they just follow the dogs around or lay about with the dogs like in the photo.

Thanks for all the lovely comments everyone Smile

I know it's such a pity that it's only negative stories that make it to press. It's not exactly fair and balanced reporting. The press has certainly done an awful amount of damage to the breeds reputation.

I've always had a soft spot for rabbits, even though most of them have tried to disembowel me with their hind legs!

Lovely to see dog and rabbit so happy in each other's company.
