Yeah it is mate, we know how humans grieve for their dogs but when you see a dog doing it back it just breaks your heart. I think that vid will go viral very soon

Re: so so sad
I think that dog looks seriously ill, they should have got it to the vets instead of videoing it.

but then again its prob an alien, photoshopped, or some other kind of conspiracy theory lurking to bring down humanity....dogs cant do that can they???

Re: so so sad
But surley they wouldn't wait until on a grave to film if it was like that all the time. Mind you there are some strange folks about so wouldn't rule it out

i was resonding to this in which you suggested strange people would do it to which i agreed and replied i dont care about strange people and that the dog seemed greif stricken. sorry for the confusionMike wrote: Mind you there are some strange folks about so wouldn't rule it out

Re: so so sad
TBH I think I end up confusing myself
It is strange but I also think the dog can smell that it's owner/loved one is there and misses them. Scientific fact that dogs feel greif and I got the impression that they filmed it due to the dog acting different when at the grave rather than oh this dog has breathing problems lets put the knackered dog in the car, drive to the grave then film it making breething noises as it could be confussed with grief

Re: so so sad
thats a long walk to make a wolf dog do that but not impossible. my two can take a nap for 5 mins and be up and about like they have been inside for a year. ive done 16 miles with marley and he just naps and is up for action i no time ready for a park walk. a true wolf dog would * that as a stroll in the nightMike wrote:TBH I think I end up confusing myself

Re: so so sad
I've watched that vid and it's truly distressing.
The anthropomorphic side of me says yes, that dog is truly grieving on the grave of his loved one.
The cynic in me says - how would the dog know? dogs are very clever as we know, but that grave is not new - it has a headstone which couldn't have been erected until the earth had settled, and the loved one would have been buried at least 6 feet deep.
I suspect a bit of a con here, and just hope that the dog is not an ill dog laid on a grave for a heart-wrenching vid.

Re: so so sad
agree lynda, i would be so angry if i felt this was a con but on the face of it its true and if i found otherwise i would be very disapointed...even worse if its a dog laid on a grave for a few inernet hits id be well * off

Re: so so sad
It wasn't crying as such. Maybe better title if said dog grieves. They do grieve
