Post by Guest Tue Apr 30 2013, 21:52

Had a floor grouted and its been washed 7 times on hand and knees with a scrubbing brush and it is still covered in dust and grouting stuck everywhere. Mums livid!

I'm sore all over too Sad

Any of you manly men have any ideas?

Hmm. Hayley, as a mere female, I laid a bathroom floor with tiles 4 years ago and obviously I grouted them, but have had no trouble. Is it possible that your 7 x scrubbing brush has lifted the grouting?

We had our kitchen floor tiled 2/3 years ago Hayley & if I look closely I can still see the grout trapped in the tiles (the grout was/is dark grey & the tiles are textured so it got stuck in all the grooves took forever to lift & I scrubbed & scrubbed it for months Laughing

That was dads brilliant idea. Well, you saw the joints in that contraption.

So soft brush and a towel?

I do have to say the best part of the floor is my corner where i was scrubbing then buffing it with a towel..
