Medivet - any comments
We use medivet for billy and they have been good, one of the vets used to have a staffy, but it died from old age so he knows the breed well.
But I don't usually like going to or buying from very large companies, and we have a local vet that is privately owned, and we really should go to that. Just my personal preference.
Do any of you use Medivet, if so do you like them? or do you prefer the local vet?

I've never heard of Medivet so looked them up on the net and they don't have any branches in West Yorkshire, I use the local vet close to where I live

We used a medivet with our last dog, didn't have a problem with them, but this time we have gone to our local vet as it is like 10 minutes in the car and it is better incase we need get their quick, plus my family used to use their other branch in Hitchin so i know i am in good hands, where as the medivet was like 30 minutes in the car not good if you've got a real sick pet. But no i didn't have a problem with medivet

Re: Medivet - any comments
There aren't any near us. I've heard good & bad reports, but I think it depends on the individual vets in each branch. If you're happy with the vet, the way they treat your dog and the price (are any of us happy with the price? But you know what I mean!) then stick with them. If there's a better local small practise then have a look, but good vets are hard to come by & if you're comfortable with the one you've got I'd stick with them!
