now more than ever!
I have been considering feeding raw for a while now and been thoroughly doing my homework before beginning. In fact, the only thing holding me back is saving for the chest freezer.
In the meantime, I have just begun a project ghost writing an e-book about what goes into pet food. Just finished the research for the book and started writing this morning. I shall be getting that freezer asap.
Just thought I'd share

Good luck I'm sure the furkids will love raw And good luck with the writing I could imagine what goes into a lot of pet foods isn't pretty

Definitely I have a steel stomach, I tell ya, so no worries there. The OH on the other hand, will have to be at work when I feed them
As I said, I will get the freezer and by then have done my homework completely

Good luck with e-book, and the raw feeding, I can just imagine what goes into dog food.

After looking into it and getting lots of great advice from members on here I switched to raw. I can't see myself ever feeding anything else. I just got an ugly looking 2nd hand chest freezer. It's in the cupboard under the stairs so no one ever gets to see it. Good luck and any questions just ask. Plenty on here with lots of great knoweldge and advice

Thanks Mike. Admittedly this was the first stop for homework and will always be my reference point for anything staffy. I really cannot wait to move over. Yes, I'm not too bothered by the freezer either, it can hide in the garage
I know my two looooove when they get bones; trotters; offal; etc etc so I cannot wait to move over and share the journey with all of you

The OH has been working onsite at the opening of a massive retail store this morning and is on his way home with a freezer that was on amazing special

Right away but slowly change over if you know what I mean. But at least I have a task to ring round various butchers now and start sourcing all the good stuff

Great news I bet you can't wait. Don't forget you can ask as many questions as you need to no matter how small or stupid you think it is. I know because when I started I asked 2000 questions and everyone was great even though they probably felt like banging their heads against the wall

Thanks Mike,I'm sure I will. I am in the process of sourcing prices now. From what I understand, start with chicken (eg backs) and add variety from there. We don't get much in the way of turkey but I'll still go round and chat to butchers.
