NBA playoffs

Soem good games already. I don't watch much of the regular season but I do very much enjoy the playoffs.

Don't watch any american sports. Out of all of them which is your favorite US sport?

That's a hard question. If I could only watch one it would either be football or the UFC. I also really love the NBA playoffs and baseball though.

Tried football once and it bored me. To much stop start for me. I can imagine basketball being good as its more fast and action packed.

Football does take alot of knowledge to be able to fully appreciate and I can see how it would be boring for some. It's alot like chess at the higher levels. It's also the only sport I've played where I've knocked myself unconscious

See thats another thing. I have played rugby and even though I can imagine American Football is a rough sport I always take one look at the helmet, pads, gum shield and think man up. Looks like one of my mum's jumpers from the 80's

I played rugby in college before I understood all of the rules. I tried to call for a fair catch so the other team couldn't hit me not knowing that there is no such thing in rugby. I ended up tearing my rotator cuff and then wondered why there was no time out

All the pads and protective equipment in football looks like it would keep you safe but it just makes the sport that much more violent. I read a science article that equated a football play to the equivalent of a 50km per hour car crash. Multiply that over years and years and you can see why they die young.

I can imagine. There are some big guys that play it. How did you manage to end up being knocked out, what happened?

I was playing LB and had a clean hit on the RB when he wasn't looking. I was trying to cause a fumble and lowered my head while launching myself full spped at his head. Our helmets collided and we both got knocked out. Good times
