Re: In or out of Europe
it's a hard one i want to stay in but they shouldn't be able to tell what to do when we haven't got the euro, if they dont let us get some power back i think we should leave
Re: In or out of Europe
Don't get me wrong I know next to nothing about politics!! But it just seems they are taking the mic abit, they take all our money and we get nothing to show for it!!

Re: In or out of Europe
OUT!!
There are more & more financially unstable countries joining the EU all the time - the next one will be Romania!
Why should we supplement other countries when we don't even have a good economy ourselves?

I agree the entire euro idea was bad to begin with. Joining at the hip with other countries financially is not a good idea unless you are a struggling economic country

Re: In or out of Europe
I was one of those who voted in the early '70s referendum to go IN, join the Big 5 and become the Big 6. It seemed like a good idea at the time, and some things improved.
But now the EU is the Big I've Lost Count and has become unwieldy and disproportionately punitive to those of us who are helping (at great cost to ourselves) to prop up those countries who, for many reasons and often through no fault of their own, have become a drain on our own increasingly failing resources.
Now I can't see any benefit for the UK to remain in the EU (how much worse could it get for us?).
So I've voted OUT.
