I missed posting this yesterday and I'm not sure if it's a big deal in the UK but it is a great story.

Neve heard of it. Just did a quick google. Seen it was the day he started his professional career. There is a lot to read on the subject and I'm in lazy mood So what made him stand out from other players and carried the celebration on every year after on the 15th?

He was the first african american player in professional baseball. At the time they had their own league and were not allowed to play with the white players. Segregation was still ongoing in the US as well.

Not really I did watch a little baseball. My team is better than expected early on this year
