Found another Gem of a little walk
About 1.5 hrs ish (longest) if you not rushing but lots of different routes and options for shorter and long ones , and its only 5 minutes walk from the pub I was at yesterday so can make a little detour , go to the pub for dinner (that at 12 oclock where I come from btw ) by car and pop here to make it as short or as long as I want
Deep Hayes Country park inbetween Cheddleton and Leek , only drawback is all dogs on lead at all times , just invested in a second long line for Tilly so sorted , today we just had to swap between the 2 of them so they both had a little ferret about

They are awesome quality for a good price. You'll have to get the Tomster a blue one too

Looks like a great place to walk, sounds like I would get lost around there, do you take your compass with you

I'm going to invest in an OS map of the area as there are shed loads of footpaths around the leek countryside , it's just a matter of finding the ones wher it's not too far to walk from the house to get on them or where there is somewhere good to park the car

Re: Found another Gem of a little walk
Thanks for the lovely comments everyone and yes there are some great places near us . As a bonus was just talking to my daughter and we remembered she was given a 1:25000 OS map of the area from school so we have all the info and going to start doing some exploring

Looks a really nice place to walk, dogs seem to love new walking routes as much as we do. Your dogs are looking great

I'm sure you can't be short of walks around your neck of the woods Dave, the area is beautiful, I remember it well.

Cheers , Tommy loved today and having the long line is just as good as being off lead in these kind of places
