Oh,no! It has happend.
Sorry for not being much around. Looking for a job, finishing the flat is taking all my time. As most of you know ,we leave with my dad still ( one more week,I hope ). He's dog, Fafy, it's not very friendly dog. He's not very confident. Every time Debo or even any one look at him he growl. Sometimes he comes to play with Debo. Then I watch them like hawk. So for Debo, who's the most friendly dog , it's very confusing, sometimes he gets growl sometimes invitation to play. So this morning it was only me and the dogs. Took Debo for a walk ( I don't take both when alone ). When came home,Debo went to the kitchen for a drink ( the flat is really small so I could see them. Then Fafy went for him, without warning. Run to them, try to separate them, Debo backing off, showing teeth,Fafy full attack. Grabed Debo, lift him,Fafy hanging ,teethin Debo's neck. At that point Fafy lost balance and grabed DEbo's back leg. Didn't want to do it but kicked Fafy. He let go for a second but it was enough time for me remove DEbo quickly from the room. I've cheked Debo first,no damage. Back to Fafy and found little bite on his nose. Didn't check him proply because he was growling. Now Debo goes around him ,without looking. Hope it wont change him. It happened really quickly but I could see Debo didn't want the fight. Not sure what to do,Fafy just had really bad past,he's rescue. On walks his fine. In the house different story.

Sorry to hear that happened, sounds like a horrible experience . If Fafy is insecure or nervous around dogs, having a dog in his home is going to very stressful for him. There's not much you can do but keep them away from each other and hopefully you'll be out of there soon. I hope it won't change Debo's personality with other dogs, but it's not worth trying to get them to get along, just keep them separate to make things as calm and unstressful for them both as possible.

Agree with Tara def. As you said he's had a rough time as a rescue so it might be stressful just for another dog to be in his territory.
Hopefully you get yourself sorted soon and can get your own place

That's what we trying to do at the moment, both dogs are kept in different rooms. I know it's really stressfull for them. Fafy run straight to his corner for comfort and Debo ,as soon as I entered the room ,jump on my laps for cudle. He didin't know what has happened and why. .

It all sounds very stressful, lets hope you can get moved out and into your flat very soon. As for Debo, yes try to keep the two dogs separated as much as you can.

Aww poor dogs I bet it's confusing and stressful for both dogs, hopefully you'll be out soon and they can meet again out the house ect so Debo can have a bit of piece of mind glad they're both okay

It's stressful, and both dogs will be feeling it, but you need to stay as calm as you can to avoid extra stress!!
Just keep in your mind that it won't be for long. What happened won't affect Debo too much because he's a naturally friendly dog. All you need to do (easier than it sounds) is to avoid the same thing happening again.
Just try to make sure that they are supervised at all times & that there is as little direct contact as possible.
Good luck!
