finally growing to love her

When I got skye my other half was less than pleased. Hes not a dog lover but the kids had been at him for a dog. He finally said yes (although I knew he only said this to keep them sweet with no intention of getting a dog) I didnt think this was fair you cant make false promises to kids so his plan back fired. I told him we were getting skye but I dont think he believed me. Until he came home from work one day and there she was :-) he wasnt happy but I told him he cant go back on his word and if he didnt like it tough. If its a choice between him and the dog, the dog wins. Lately though hes been feeding her and talking to her. Even keeping an eye on her in the garden. Today he even suggested we all go on a walk with her :-D I knew he couldnt resist falling in love even if it took longer than expected. He wont admit to it though but his actions speak louder than words. Well done skye you melted an ice heart <3
