How many of your pups go shopping on their own
Hi All - Got to share this story with you. I had just taken Scarlet to the beach for a walk and my wife phoned and asked to pick her up from Asda. I went straight there with Scarlet in the back of my car. The back windows are tinted black so you cant see in. I stopped outside Asda and my wife opened the back door before i had a chance of getting out of the car. Scarlet jumped out of the car and ran straight into Asda with my wife running after her shouting Scarlet. Everybody was jumping out of the way. Eventually a lady grabbed Scarlet by the collar in the clothing department. When i caught up with them my wife had Scarlet by the collar and was bringing her out. ( I think Scarlet was trying to get to the meat department. LOL) If the lady who caught Scarlet happens to be reading this thank you very much and if you hear stories of a mad pit bull terrier running around Asda in Llanelli - It was only Scarlet.

Re: How many of your pups go shopping on their own
i nipped into a tesco's in north wales once to grab a butty and a drink, with Lola in the car. up to the point, i didnt realise the electric windows stay on after you lock the car (80's designs!) and the switches are next to the handbrake. she must have stepped on them to get to the back of the car, and spotted her opportunity...
as i was leaving the store, i spotted a small dark dog run full pelt through the door being chased by a security guard. "who the hell brings there dog into a supermarket without a lea.... oh.." i thought, as Lola came flying towards me. i apologised, security man was laughing and said "you need to tie her up a bit better mate". the stunned look on his face when i told him she WAS supposed to be in the car was priceless
(she also did the same trick at work last week, and wandered into the workshop like she owned the place )

I didn't have one go shopping but I was ill whilst away we had an old land rover which had a rag top (could take the whole roof off) my oh couldn't leave the dogs in the van so all came (at the time we had 1-staff 1- colliex and a very old toy poodle) whilst I was in being seen by the doctor there was a commotion outside. My colliex had got off his lead and was running round the doctors. The funny thing was no one was that bothered and my oh calmly walked him back to the car. I found out it was morning sickness 17 years later I can still remember the nurse saying well he (my dog) was just looking after his mum.

Went into the local Co-op for a paper and tied Bacchus up outside. When I came out and unfastened his lead he ran into the shop and had a browse round. Had visions of him coming running out with a pack of meat etc. in his mouth but luckily no harm done, he just wanted to say hello, and the staff found it funny.

Lol great stories above !
The closest to shop embarrassment I've had with Tank was out on a walk and he decided he'd stop n squat right outside the shop door.
He managed to do the biggest poop on the planet. The type that needs at least 3 poop bags to pick up ! Ppl having to walk round me out of the door whilst I'm trying to scrape poop off the pavement with a bag and keep a grip on him !
Tad flustered lol !

Brilliant stories, Jackieb, Ken did the same. When he does his number2, he likes to back his butt onto something, which happened to be a big pile of "grow bags", the mess my boy made was bad

They always save their BEST poos for embarrassing situations. Many years ago I had a Dobermann, we went to a park with only one family in it having a picnic. He ran all the way over to them and had a s##t that would take a week to walk round right next to them. The guy was apoplectic.
