Vinny turned 6 months old today and we took the pups to the dog park for a good, long, fast off lead run (we don't get to do that often here). They were well pleased!

These were taken just before we left when they were quiet happy to go back on lead to get to the car!

Thank you, thank you Smile The best feeling is how good they were - they stayed near us; came back when necessary and didn't put up resistance when we put them on lead when a whole group of dogs were walking nearby. And they stuck together and had a blast playing together. Very proud!

We don't get the chance we'd like to here - that's about the only open space off lead park we have Crying or Very sad So it's a real treat when we do. We live in an enclosed area so their daily walks happen around there and we're lucky to have the garden space for them to get really good runs and zoomies as much and as often as they like along with the dailies.

There is another park not too far from here but I prefer to keep them on lead there as it opens onto a main road. I'm thinking I will order the flexi leads that you get over there so we can take them there more often for a good run

Thats a shame, but flexi leads are great, I always assume you guys live on the beaches! Xx

Sadly not us as we're in Johannesburg. Our closest beach is a 6 hour drive but we will definitely take the pups there someday. There are places about 3 hours or so away that have dog friendly accommodation and lots of open space for them so that is another option. x

My aunt lives in the Lake District and I've been once. I often think how much fun they'd have in the open spaces day dreaming
