Staffy Ears...
This is chase when he was about 5 months old...
His ears are still pretty similar to this, his heads just bigger, well his bigger in general, his now nearly 8 months (on the 24th of this month) but his ears still hang like this.
My question isssss, when did you start to see your staffys ears look more like staffy ears if that makes sence? His ears still seem too big for his head.
Sumtimes they * up like in my avatar, but not all the time...
They always seem to look different

Re: Staffy Ears...
For some reason I can't see the pic! But they all have different ears! Bandit had the perfect semi-rose ear, or half-pr.ick, and his were like that virtually from day one, but it really depends on his genetics. They can change a lot up to about 12 months old.
If you look at his parents' ears you should have an idea of how his ears are likely to end up.

Re: Staffy Ears...
I can see them changing slowly, But its hard to notice when you see them everyday.
It seems like as his cheek muscles are getting bigger, his ears are standing up more, But maybe they just look smaller in comparison to his head as it gets bigger lol.
He starting to look older now, his face is starting to get some nice definition and all them staffy muscles are bulking out.
Um so impatient to know what his gunna look like!

Re: Staffy Ears...
Butkus's ears were like that until his head started splitting as he grew up. By the time he was a little over 1yr they seemed better suited to his head size.

Re: Staffy Ears...
floyd had perfect ears up until 3 months old then one day one started flopping the other way! his sister who lives in my street has totally different ears, she has half pricked, floyds are, 'were' rose,
I asked vet he said the ear cartilage is full of water at that age and could correct itself or not, 'crazy ears' on pups are common in most breeds of dogs.

Ha!! She's started jumping to catch the frisbee so maybe it would be best to weigh her down!!
I would agree, I love all ears I've seen.. but I do LOVE my girls pricked ears 24/7
My dad's nickname for Lola is gizmo from gremlins!
