sheeps head.
thanks to my wonderful girlfriend we are now feeding toby on a raw diet. we are doing pretty well with sourcing bits and bobs from here and there. today in our algerian butchers we managed to get a sheeps head for 2 pounds. we got the guy to saw it down the middle so plan to give toby a half at a time. the main thing that is troubling us is should we take the teeth out or are we best to leave them on.

Leave them as they are - Ella does & her two dogs demolish the whole lot!

Re: sheeps head.
Yup, give it as it is! Some dogs won't eat the teeth, others will!

Glad to hear he's doing well on his raw diet and that you have access to great food for him

Re: sheeps head.
Went to give toby the head this morning. It was cut in half insides facing him. He started to have a good chomp until it flipped over. He pretty much just stared at for a while then walked away.
