Re: niblin
I always find a 'uh uh' helps and replace your hand with a toy, although Moo does sometimes nibble me when she gets a little over excited. Congrats on your new rescue

Re: niblin
Theres a few things you can try. Ive had this problem with my Alfie for a while now.
Stop all interation and turn your back until she calms down (this didnt work for me however), you could also try leaving the room for a few minutes so she realises you will ignore her until she learns to calm down but what I have found most effective is putting Alfie into my bedroom and shutting the door for a few minutes. He hates this because he knows I am there yet he cant see or get to me... It will take a lot of time and patience though so keep at it

Re: niblin
Congratulations on the rescue
I used the 'yelping' tactic with Daisy and it has worked for us. When she nibbles too hard yelp to let her know she's hurt you, you can also say no, then ignore her for a little bit. Daisy learnt really quickly using this method. Good luck with it.

Re: niblin
Good advice already given above
With Logan I have done using a toy to distract his attention and also just simply leaving the room.
Well done on the rescue too

Re: niblin
when romeo goes too far i normally make a loud painful noise. dogs understand pain in others from playing with their litter mates (normally)
Re: niblin
I taught Tilly with "Ah Ah Tongues not Teeth" so I just get licked to death instead
