Hi All,
Just a quick hello to introduce myself as I'm a new member
My name is Rachel, I have a 2 year old Staffy Cross who was rescued from a shelter by myself and my husband a year ago. He is the loveliest dog I have ever known and he makes us very happy. This year has been very testing as he began with severe seperation anxiety, however you wouldn't even know he was the same dog now! I hope to meet lots of other people here who I can share my stories with and maybe even help some people who are experiencing some of the problems I have!

Hi Kylie and Steffi! Bean was named by the staff at the shelter we got him from, they said it was because he was 'full of beans'. We loved it so much we kept it

Re: New Member
Thanks all for the very warm welcome
I always said if I got a dog I would get one from a shelter, and even though the first bit was hard it was definitely worth it. I have a very smart and well behaved dog (most of the time). He doesn't bark unless we are playing with him, and he is very friendly to everyone he meets. He's good with other dogs too, if not a little hyper! But he's still my little puppy dog so I'll let him off for the little crazy moments he has!
And yes, I'd say he's a very beautiful dog (but of course I'm just biased). Out of curiousity, we know he is a cross (i'm guessing maybe a staffador- staffy and lab) but has anyone ever seen a dog that looks like him? He has the eyes and nose of a staffy but his face in narrower and longer, and although he is quite stocky he is quite long and taller. He was picked up as a stray so we don't know his history and I've always been curious to know. I also think he has some blue in him as his ears are a very light browny/grey colour (along with his little eye patch) but I'm not sure.

Hi & welcome to the forum ><
Bean is gorgeous. Well done on the rescue
Not sure what if he is crossed with to be honest.
Not looked for a while so excuse me if you have, but if you want advice on the seperation anxiety then just start a thread in behaviour and plenty will try and help you out
