Singing to your Stafford.
Does anyone sing to their dog? I feel a bit daft writing this but I sing silly songs to the girls sometimes. I'm hoping other members do too then I won't feel stupid

When we're walking really early in the morning I start singing whatever song is stuck in my head, and Loki just looks up at me confused, and then goes back to walking that's all really.

Singing no, but I do talk to Rocky all the time I'm out with him on my own, just silly stuff like what to have for dinner etc.

I sing to Daisy ALL the time.....I am very very silly and a terrible singer, no wonder she has bad ears
I have made her some songs by changing the words to her name
So we have Hello Daisy Lou (Mary Lou), Daisylou (Waterloo), Daisy Daisy (obviously no name cahnge there!), I'm sure there is another but it's slipped my mind just now!
Hmmm now I'm thinking should I have wrote that....everyones gonna think I'm extreamly wierd and never speak to me again!!

I sing to Knox all the time. Changing the names of people or objects in the song to his name
*You are my Knoxville, my only Knoxville, you make me happy when when you play. You'll never know Knox how much we love you, so please be good whilst we are away*

Re: Singing to your Stafford.
I'm so glad I,m not the only weirdo who sings with their dog. Otis sometimes sings along. I'll need to video it sometime cause it is soooo cute. I do amateur dramatics and when I was practicing for the pantomine Otis used to sit on couch and sing along to the song I was learning.

Re: Singing to your Stafford.
I always sing to Dempsey First started it after he got severe separation anxiety in the car when people would get out. I stayed in the car with him, but my parents got out to do some shopping. He literally started screaming and crying, throwing himself about for at least ten minutes.
Since then, I've found that singing actually helps him calm down. Only a particular few songs, though. He still gets jumpy and twitchy when people leave the car, but he settles down after a little while of some choice music!
