Autism
Has anyone every heard of a dog with autism or had any experience of it please? It has been suggested today that my boy Harry may have autistic tendencies. Although he is very intelligent and learns his commands etc very quickly and behaves well in this respect, he lacks social/people/other dog skills and behaves inappropriately despite attempts to teach him.
Until today I hadn't realised this existed in dogs!

Sounds very interesting. I don't have any experience of this, sorry, but I'm sure someone will be along in a bit with advise!

Re: Autism
Well Harry doesn't tick all of the boxes. He loves food and games and he is very active but his social skills are lacking despite all my best efforts.
Think he just loves his Mum best

Re: Autism
I've never heard of it myself but I guess it could be possible.
Would be quite hard to diagnose though I'd imagine.

Re: Autism
This is something I had never heard about before. Definitely very interesting, cannot wait to read up all the reports on it.
