a little help here ???

i havnt been on for a while so hi every1 hows all the beloved staffys hope they are all well.

as Chaos is getting bigger he is 9 months now and i was unsure if he was crossed or not but is it just me or is chaos starting to look like a pit :/ my OH is very concerned too please help me out someone, THANKS

Def not a pitbull.

They go through a tall/leggy phase about that age and start to fill out after about a year or so. Logan is 15 months and only really starting to fill out now.

Looks like a staff to me, if you haven't got papers you can't say one way or tother, and even if you do then its questionable.

just the mrs is starting to feel scared of him the most violent thig in him is his farts and i know that but she say she wouldnt trust him around our baby :s what to do i will add more pics now

Nope. They're still growing at that age, he'll fill out a bit more when he's older anyway pitbulls aren't violent dogs anyway, it's just the media making everyone scared. Tell your OH that Chaos is NOT a pitbull, he's a Staff, and to judge him on what he does, not what she thinks his breed is. If he's a good dog, what's she got to be scared of?

she has never liked staffys coz her bro was bit by one i have argued and argued trying to get her to understand that staffys are not bad dogs and just as she was getting to understand the media slanders the breed yet again!

Max looked a lot "scarier" than that at 9mths ... he's a lovely lookin lad

thanks im still not 100% sure hes pure staffy no papers so classed as a cross realy i love him to bits my mrs dont see staffys like we do :s its a hard point to argue :s

She can always join here too if she needs to ask anything

she was on when we first got him i will try get her to go back on so all my fellow staffy lovers can convince her

She's doing ok thanks, some days its bad but 9 out of 10 she is coping really well, cheers for asking XxxX

Is your OH showing her nervousness in front of Chaos ? He may well be picking up on this which will affect his behaviour around her, tell to relax in his company and keep making a good fuss of him and to play with him too. Does she have anything to do with feeding Chaos ? This will be a very good way to bond with him too.

Staffy.
He's still a puppy. Still out of proportion and won't fill out for a while yet. His face looks more terrier than bull (at the moment) defo not an ounce of pit !

aww good she seems to be bigger too shes a beaut and yea my OH does feed him and she is relaxed around him i just think its the media more than actually him as the baby is due in 9 weeks the media doesnt help the staffy breed at all as a staffy picture was used today on this morning for a APBT on the band breeds thing

Try not to get her to listen to the media, yes its bad at the moment but they jump on a band wagon Xx

THANKS janey i will try get her to come back on this site few months back like i said i will try get her back on so we can convince her lol,
i hate the way the media and staffy haters see the SBT breed i always said if a dog has ever attacked there is a reason behind it and a way to prevent it (love your dog) dogs dont attack for no reason but for some reason people thinks staffys do!
does this mean coz some people are murderers and thugs that ALL humans are :s coz thats the way it is if u blame a breed........ I LOVE ALL STAFFYS....

Any dog has to be supervised around babies/children, but staffords need slightly less supervision. My two kids learnt to stand & walk by grabbing my Stafford's scruff & pulling themselves up. He never batted an eyelid, even though he was already quite elderly; he was about 8 or 9 years old when my son was born.

He doesn't (at the moment) look full staff - but at his age it's almost impossible to be sure. They all grow at different rates & the filling out can take 18 months or so after he has reached his full height.

He is an absolute stunner!

Even if he was why would it matter. Would you get rid because he may or may not be a banned breed? Anyway there is 99.9% chance he is not a pit as there's no way you would have him. Pits cost a lot here and they don't go to just anyone.

build wise he is very similar to Ledger, definitely not pitbull

no i wouldnt get rid.... its more for the mrs to reassure her as all she goes off is what the media says and we all know it aint good the way the media see staffs and pits

Seriously, though, you can tell her he looks nothing like a pitbull!
