The Zoomies
This morning both Roxy and Vinny had zoomies which involved running around and around the trees and plants followed by Vinny flying through the baby gate; round the lounge; OVER the couch and out again. Roxy likes to run laps around the house like she's in training for the Stafford olympics!
What crazy things do your dogs do when they have the zoomies?

Re: The Zoomies
Very similar to what Logan does tbh. Though if he's outside and starts like that he tends to lift and grab everything he can get hold of and normally finishes with a mouth full of grass haha

Funny you should say that, Mat... they dug up two holes in the grass this morning

Re: The Zoomies
Besides running into our shins, running into his cage with so much force that it moves, throwing his StagBar around onto the wooden floor and trying to play with everything he shouldn't be? Nothing at all

Rocky does his scooter rooter around the bedroom jumps onto the bed then off the bed around the bed and back on it again, at about 100 miles an hour, I get dizzy just watching him.

Re: The Zoomies
Dempsey puts his ears back and gets 'shark eyes', where the eyes go wide and glassy and don't blink. He does a weird little crouch, with every muscle all tensed up, and twitches. Then goes spinning madly in circles, air snapping at everything in his way. Then zooms up and down the passage for a couple of minutes. Then he usually has a scoot along the floor.

It is quite cute. But he has a very hard head and doesn't care if he headbutts somebody.

Over, under, on, around...yep, just about everything, but when Monte sees Frosty going bonkers, he tries to run right into Frosty, but Frosty is nimble and leaps over Monte, which makes Monte go mad and bark like crazy. Happens nearly daily...

Manny can be sitting/lying quietly, suddenly jumps up, makes a wild eyes face and you know he's gonna zoom!!!! Totally random with nothing kicking it off!! He runs up and down the stairs so fast it's scared, then comes ack into lounge and pounces on us like a thing possessed!!! Then stops as quickly as he started!! Such funny dogs

Bowser does it more than Skye.
We have carpet in the living room and laminate in the hall through to the kitchen. Its so funny watching bowser skidding down the hall straight into the front door! Best thing is, he'll keep doing it!

Re: The Zoomies
Firstly .. the word "zoomies" makes me laugh but describes it perfectly
Secondly .. I love it , I love to see a staffy going bonkers around the place .. my only worry is Max will hurt himself TBH ... mainly because if I cant get him into the garden quick enough (where he does the wall of death around the boundry for 10mins), he shoots up and down the stairs, but only really touches them a couple times from top to bottom ... he jumps from about the fifth stair up onto the floor, hits the front door side on, then back up! ... he does this about 10 times ... mental!!
