Steve, have you tried Nytimber it's an English sparkling wine and very very good. It has beaten French Champagnes in tests.

The only wine I've ever tried was absolutely disgusting (to me) so never tried it again after that. I'm still working on finding some Red Stripe though, one step at a time Big Grin

Eh. I don't know what it was I tasted, but it was bitter/sour, and I hate that, so if all wine is like that, you can keep it, more for you Laughing

I don't like sweet drinks so my wine has to be white and dry. I found Soave - the one from Londis is good but the one from Tesco is disgusting. Chateau wines are beyond my pocket Big Grin

I think wine's nice for the odd drink. Makes a nice change! Smile My favourite is Rosé wine, though I don't really have a favourite brand.

Well, perhaps not, but twice the price I pay for my Soave! However, as it comes highly recommended I'll look out for Chateau Roumieu and give it a go! (Just promise me it's not sweet!)

at 20 quid a pop , don't think so boss , that's absolutely outrageous in these economic times

I can buy about 34 cans of Carlsberg for that in the right shop

I'd def think I'd like it. Might be worth a try some night when I just wanna enjoy a glass of wine as opposed to just getting drunk, when cheaper is better for me.
