Chilly Staffies Empty Chilly Staffies

Post by Guest Fri Mar 22 2013, 10:57

Shéara is no longer aloud to sleep in my bed at night and has his own bed (along with a duvet, 3 blankets and a pillow to keep him warm) at the end off my bed. However, he sits and shakes and cant get comfy for quite a while and im wondering if its becasue hes getting too cold? He's forever clawing at my dressing gown to be covered and he will claw at the blankets on the couch if were watching tv. Even now hes curled up under a blanket.

Can anyone explain this?

Logan will take a while before he gets himself comfy and settled too. He seems to get very cold at times also. But you have left plenty of blankets etc so she should be fine. Smile

If she's anything like my fella she'll just jump up on the bed once you fall asleep anyway Laughing

Lola does some strange things when she settles for the night. If she jumps on the sofa she kind of fights with the cushions to get one under herself, then settles down. Big Grin

He might be a bit cold, you can always buy him a shirt or hoodie for when it's cold. Loki never gets cold enough for a jumper, he'll just wriggle out of it Laughing it does take him ages to get comfy though.

They can feel the cold at times due to their short coat, which is often thin on their under side too. I usually wake up in the morning to find Rocky cuddled up to me in the bed in between me and hubby.
