Postman

Usual postman came today - the dogs did there usual sniff n greet, waggy tail overload !
Then he says - I bought a doggy treat for them cause they are so nice and happy when they see me ! And sure enough, a biscuit each !

I was quite taken aback lol !

We are lucky to have lovely posties too.
We did put a post box outside the drive though, as there was one postie terrified of dogs, not in the best line of work!!

Aaawww, that's so nice when I was a kid in our old house, the milkman used to give me and my brother a biscuit to give to his JRT.

When I trained as a postman I was warned about certain dogs that could be nasty so I also took a pocket of treats with me and all the dogs loved it when I came. I got told off by some owners as they wanted there dogs to be a bit nasty to protect them. Only time I ever got bit was by a Corgi and that was in the street and on a lead. The 3rd time it went for me I was ready and raised my foot to push it away and I got reported to post office for kicking his dog!
