I remember watching a show on Discovery where they used a sheep to raise a baby rhino

Re: Max and Lambsie
Yep... Lambsie thinks she's a dog and has no fear of the horse, dogs or anything... she bounces down the field after the dogs and headbutts them!!!
The dog likes to think he is a lamb when I am bottle feeding he licks the lambs mouth and any drips of milk - all while doing Staffy grunts and grumbles!

Come on now, dogs are far more intelligent than that.

Hiya, I tried to get a video on the walk tonight but they had all bounded away before I recorded it. I called them all back and sent them away again and they were like 'oh no... we aren't performing seals!' so maybe tomorrow I'll try again!!
Lambsie is a Pedigree Texel that I am fostering until she's big and strong enough to be returned to the farmer... by then she'll 'heel' 'wait' 'come' and will require a comfy settee or bed to lie on! She'll soon think she's a sheep once she's living with her woolly friends again!
I have a tame sheep called 'Bella' went to the farm to be tupped and she'll stay there til she lambs. Well, the other day I saw her in the field just by the road and I did my special 'Bella' whistle and she just looked... and walked off... She used to come running to the 'Bella' whistle......

Re: Max and Lambsie
Lambsie will be kept and bred from as she's a posh Pedigree with good bloodlines... I'll get to see her and give her a whistle now and then!!!
Re: Max and Lambsie
Not every day you see a lamb sleeping on a sofa! Although we nearly had some in the house when it was snowing after the OH found a couple that had escaped from the field. She sat cuddling them until they stopped shivering - I do wonder about her sometimes...
