Logan At The Forest (Pic Heavy)
Me again, posting more photos. I'll give it a rest after this lot, it's just not that often I get a chance to do these things.
We went to a Forest Park today about 9 miles from the house. My Mum & Dad came so I got a break from driving thankfully. It was a great long walk, there is also a lot of different animals about which is great. Logan is very good with the animals and just likes to have a look at them.
He was totally filthy so he's a bit dirty in these photos
Just arriving.
In between the trees.
A few animals he got to see.
Letting my Dad walk him for a bit.
Filthy Monster.
My poor Dad's car is rotten now from it, but Logan had a great time and is just after a big breakfast

Fab pics and what a great place to walk with all those animals, Moo would be in heaven chasing them so he is very well behaved!

Re: Logan At The Forest (Pic Heavy)
Thanks Janey. He has been around farm animals from a young age, and I used to take him to a kiddies petting farm at the lake near my house to get him used to them. He's great with everything except big dogs

Deer usually start to shed their antlers around mid January so there may be some around now still

Thanks fella.
A really crap Samsung one, I got it for like £60 about 4-5 years ago. It's rubbish. The lens doesn't even open by itself. I was gonna think about getting a new one, I'd prolly put a topic in the DnB Bar asking for opinions because I no nowt about them.

Wow, that's an amazing place, loads of animals, brilliant Logan looks wonderful as always and like he had a lovely time

Re: Logan At The Forest (Pic Heavy)
Yea it's a great spot Tara. There must be a lot of strong scents from the various animals because Logan's head was constantly in the air sniffing.
It's also very quiet, mostly older people walking. I met a lovely blue/fawn female Stafford though too and I'd never seen that colour in the flesh before.

Yes they are huge, we see plenty of wild ones here on our walks, but never found an antler which is surprising as they say there are more deer in our forest now than ever.MatLogan wrote:Thank you Inez.

Beautiful setting for a beautiful boy who looked like he had a ball. Must've had a good sleep after that!

Yeah, I'd never seen a blue Staff before until a few months ago, it's a very striking colour in the flesh . As for deer, what was Logan like with that, fine? I remember we took Zac with us to Scotland and the place we were staying had reindeer. Thank god it was heavily fenced, that's all I'm going to say

Re: Logan At The Forest (Pic Heavy)
There is fencing around these ones too but Logan could easily get through it and it's fairly wide apart. But he doesn't even really look at them like that. He has a good stare then walks on. He more interested in the smells thankfully haha.

Re: Logan At The Forest (Pic Heavy)
Thanks Kathy I'll do that for sure. Only really thought about getting something better today when it started to mess around a bit. I'll need to have a look and see how much I'd wanna spend. It wouldn't be anything overly special I'd need though because all I use them for is Logan pics.

He could be let off around the animals no problem, but he isn't great with big dogs and because there are other dog walkers around he stays on lead. He is 100% trust worthy with 95% of things but he had a few bad run in's with bigger dogs as a pup and is incredibly defensive towards them now.

Re: Logan At The Forest (Pic Heavy)
Thats why i asked. Toby has been great so far its only a few smaller dogs have snapped but lucly he seems to ignore them. With small dogs we now put him on the lead. He seems to love playing with all big dogs at the min but we are also being very cautious .MatLogan wrote:anderson wrote:logan looks brill in these pics. do you manage to let him off near those animals or is it best to keep him on the lead
