Are the LibDems finished?

Looking at the reult of the Barnsley Central by-election they could be. I know by-elections are notoriously volatile, but a sixth place finish and a lost deposit when they finished second in the General Election means their supporters have deserted them in droves. Looks like Nick's paying the price for selling his soul for a sniff of power. Where the former LibDems turn at the next GE could well decide which party wins power.

agree totally, my boss was quite high up in the lib dems and he resigned because of the pact
