Getting cold Empty Getting cold

Post by racamoe Mon Mar 11 2013, 22:30

Holly will be allowed to go out for walks in 2 wks time . If the weather doesn't start to warm up I have considered getting her a little coat ( I presume they make them in v small sizes)
Do you think I am being daft and I should save my money until this winter when she will be closer to her final size.
I have just noticed that when it's very cold she hates going for a wee and races to get back in afterwards. ?

A coat wouldn't do any harm! She'll out grow them very quickly though lol.

If you went to Pets A t Home you could bring her in to try on one that might do for a while. Smile

Danish Design are good and the velcro adjusts so it would last a few months at least, have a look on ebay, might be worth paying a little extra to get more use, check out ebay Smile

Zeus is a big lad and he still gets very cold, especially at night. I've got two coats for him to wear when he goes on a walk (one which I brought online and another which my mum sewed for him from one of my old coats), he's also got about 4/5 tops that my mum sewed for him out of my old tops (she went a bit mad with the sewing machine).

So yeah, you should look into getting something, especially as she's so young.

I think a little coat would be a great idea as they do feel the cold too. If she does grow out of it quickly maybe you could donate it to a local rescue centre
