Re: Margwar Again
You wouldn't say that if you could see him up close, he's had a couple of bad sheds and his scales are looking a bit scabby, he's 10 years old, so basically he's looking like a bit of an old man

I haven't, Leaim has. A case of mistaken identity, Margwar thought Leaim's hand was a mouse.

lol Na, he's only a wee-un, he's 4 and half feet and only weighs 1500g, he's not big enough to do any kind of serious damage, we're looking at a bigger snake, it'll be somewhere between 4 feet and 5 and half, and could weigh as much as Molly does now, so 18kg ish.

Re: Margwar Again
He looks a lot bigger than 4' 6", but I suppose that's just the photo.
I can appreciate the beauty of snakes, but I wouldn't want one myself.

Steve wrote:what type python is margwar?
He's a Royal or Ball Python, the English call them Royals, and the Americans call them Ball, when they get scared they tend to curl up into a tight ball.
It is just the photo, my mum said the same, below is one of me holding him, yes I am struggling, he was pulling against my hands, and I was laughing as well, over all not a very flattering photo of me there lolCaryll wrote:He looks a lot bigger than 4' 6", but I suppose that's just the photo.

Re: Margwar Again
He's as Claire said, from Africa, they live in the savannah and in grasslands.
We're treating him to a rat tonight!

Dead, it's dangerous to feed live rodents. The rodents can end up seriously injuring the snake if they get away. We defrost them and warm them up a bit before dangling it in front of his face.
