Copper. Great Ld. Brindle approx 3 yrs
Copper is an intelligent young boy, who can be a real cheeky chappy. He absolutely loves human attention and a good old run around. Copper is a playful young boy, who we feel would best be homed with children aged 12 years and over. Although friendly with other dogs, he must be the only dog in the household, he also cannot be homed with cats but small animals should be fine providing they are kept in secure enclosures. We currently do not have any information to whether Copper is house trained so owners will need to be home for the majority of the day initially to help him settle in. Copper is a real sweetie, looking for a fresh start in life.
See his official page at http://www.rspca.org.uk/allaboutanimals/rehoming/petsearch/details/-/Pet/COPPER/ref/80393/rehome/

Copper has been returned to us at the RSPCA south godstone in surrey where I volunteer. I don't know why, but he came back too skinny in my humble volunteers opinion.
Can we move him back to the re homing section?

Still in rescue
Copper had re gained a nice weight, but looks very confused as to why he is back in kennels.
PLEASE promote rescue!!! there are SOOOOOOOOOO MANY Staffies in rescue. On the RSPCA web site alone 167 staffies, most breeds are in single figures.
The next highest number is Jack Russells at 37 dogs!
and the 167 doesn't include all the ones not ready for re homeing, behavioural issues, being assessed, involved in court cases, from my experience I estimate 70% of dogs in rescue in the UK are staffies!!!!!!!
What is going on?????? How can we help this breed stop being so neglected?
