Those are nice! Lots of them around here. You'd love the Hot August Night's car show in Vegas.

There's an American fella that lives near me and him and his Dad restored a Pontiac Firebird too. Beautiful thing.

just watching that counting car on history someone offered $50.000 for that '70 Ford Torino and the owner turn him down so i will never own one
Re: old skool american cars are badass!!
if you could chop them both in 2 had the ford back end and the Mustang front you got one scary car

Got to be a Mustang for me , first time I went to the states I had a ticket for a economy car (skateboard) and they gave me a Mustang Convertible to say I was chuffed to bits was an understatement

For a newish car I always had a soft spot for the VW Corrado. All the bad boys had them round where I grew up.

Re: old skool american cars are badass!!
thats cool I suppose but if we talk about new new cars then we have to stick British and talk Aston Martin, one of my newest customers in Coventry make a lot of the bling for them

Re: old skool american cars are badass!!
i like the vans they look smart i'm not sure about the cars
Re: old skool american cars are badass!!
Oooh those flashy American cars!
When I was a child in the '50s, most people (if they could afford a car at all) had a black sit-up-and-beg Ford Popular, or similar. EXCEPT the airmen at the local American airbase. They brought over heeooge glossy tail-finned chrome-laden beasties - they looked so incongrous in our little country lanes and often couldn't cope with them, often getting piled into unexpected cottages, fields and haystacks
What did it for me (and I suspect a lot of other people) was the film Bullitt where Steve McQueen (sigh of desire) drove a Mustang (almost equal sigh of desire) in that first epic car chase scene.
Some short while after, of course, Ford introduced the Capri into the UK - somewhat similar to the Mustang. Oh how I wanted one!
Nowadays, I don't see so many American cars. Someone a few streets away has a Chevrolet Impala in his drive ( a lot like your photo Steve) - unfortunately it has been up on blocks for many many months, presumably waiting for wheels (as these are what are missing). Lovely car, apart from the missing wheels.
