Hierarchy
When I am at home Bacchus will occasionally try to hump my wife's leg. However when I am not present he never does this. It's as if he accepts her as the boss when I'm not there but tries to be number two when I'm in.
Anyone else experience this??

Re: Hierarchy
I have the same thing with Logan, I'd nearly go as far as describing him as "a one person dog".
When he is with one person, no matter who it is, he is a gem. Perfectly behaved, but if there is more than one person in the house it nearly seems like he is showing off haha!
I do one of two things to stop it. Either distract him with toys and take his attention elsewhere. Or more than often I put him in the bedroom on his own for a few minutes and then let him join the group again.

Tommy only humps other dogs , he will from time to time jump on bed and sit on my wife's face but think this is just what he has learned from me

How come my perfectly serious query got highjacked into a smutty conversation full of double entendre which I'll have to ask my wife to explain?
