what would you do?
my bitch is in season for two weeks now. We have been asked to have our families male neutured staffy for a day. The dogs know each other well and have never wanted to get innvolved sexually before. Sky will be wearing her hygeine pants ( i know these may not prevent but its a barrier) They would always be supervised and any movement of mounting they would be seperated. like i said the male is neutered anyway. toilet breaks would be done seperatly etc. Would you avoid having the male staffy or just watch them extra carefully? what would you do?

Re: what would you do?
As long as the male is neutered there is no massive danger but he will most likely still want to mount your female. It might be distressing for Sky. And the male possibly.
If it is avoidable I wouldn't do it personally. But it might be ok with constant supervision.

If he's neutered, there's no problem, however he will likely still want to mate with her! Not that she could get pregnant, but be aware of it.

Just keep your eye on them both and they will be fine , as long as you have the time to supervise them I wouldn't be concerned

Since it's just for a day you should be OK if you can keep an eye on them both.

Re: what would you do?
Seeing as though he's neutered i would say yes and look after him if you can supervise them

Re: what would you do?
Generally you should still watch them for about 3 weeks after they stop bleeding.
