Looking very strong! Yikes! Met Arnie before. He is short and wears makeup so I like this guy much more.

I would love to have Suki in that kind of shape but I think she would drive me crazy with all the extra energy. She already gets about 3 hours of exercise during the day and would happily do more.

Re: Dog or arnie?
If I could do it I'd love to put the time into Logan so he was so well conditioned. It would be like a full time job though I'd imagine.

Dogs, like human athletes when they are in the peak of condition, are vulnerable to all kinds of problems and infections. In the wild they never reach that kind of musculature, because there is no reason for it. It is entirely man made. Dogs dont need to pump iron to be fit and healthy, and its highly probable that to get in this condition they are given steroids. I like a dog to show muscle and strength, but naturally so. Also have you ever thought that most of the pictures of ripped dogs are of males???
At least the dog in the picture hasn't had his ears cropped

It is an unusual colour.
It is a bit too much definition for my taste but can appreciate the work that goes in...do you think it is all natural ?

Bit too muscular for me. It's unnatural, like Mr Universe. Just looks like he's been on steroids.

Kinda why I would be interested to see him from another angle, as shots can be very deceiving (tho he would be very impressive from any angle you can tell )

He's impressive, yes, but at the end of the day, it's overdone. From that angle the only way he'd get muscles that huge would be with steroids, especially if those muscles are sustained 365 days a year. Not healthy.

Re: Dog or arnie?
im same as caryll and sarah. To me this is unnatural and unsure how you could achieve this naturally as my old Area manager at work was a body builder and it was not stop eating, training and popping pills ( holland and barret ones).
im the same with the ripped look in ben and women, a nice toned body with good muscle definition yes but veins and ligaments no thank you!

Re: Dog or arnie?
Disagree! ... that muscle is acheivable without roids, in breeds like staffords and APBT's .. its the definition that makes it so striking in a shot like that .. but no, I agree a dog shouldnt be kept that lean, and I doubt many are tbh
From the pic, he's about as lean as dog could be, so I'd prefer a couple pounds or more on him if I'm honest

Re: Dog or arnie?
i was going to say i reckon that would be naturally and healthily acieveable, as Lola is very defined and muscley for her size, and its not something ive purposly gone for (i wish she was a bit less lean sometimes to be honest) but would take some serious daily working. have to agree with Andy tho, a few more pounds wouldnt go amiss.
also bear in mind a solid dark colour will show everything up more, some big dogs may have a break up of colour so not as easy to spot the definition
