How charming!
I'd just got off the field with my dog and was walking round the block back to my house and a man stopped me and was talking about ebony, asking where I got her from and various other things which I didn't mind but to start the conversation off his first words were "how are you holding that beast back, you're f*cking tiny lass!". I'm not sure whether to be flattered or annoyed I know I'm only 5ft 1/2ish but ebony doesn't even pull! Haha. He then proceeded to make quite crude comments and as he walked off he said, "I bet you could tame my beast" I'm only hoping he meant his dog!!!

Some men are really cool aren't they, I bet he gets all the girls
When a dog is well trained it really doesn't matter what size you are, and you have obviously done a great job with Ebony

Re: How charming!
last input but this is why we don't (or rather Jo and Jenny don't ) walk the dogs after it gets dark there are some right lunatics out there anyway and it only gets worse after dark, but fortunately we do have a good size garden for them . Be safe on those streets people , night all

Re: How charming!
Couldn't agree with Dave comment any more. My number one fear for people. My Mum used to go for walks on her own and I stopped it. Far too dangerous and I've seen it first hand.
She comes with me and the monster now, they'd need to be brave to say/do anything with him there

Re: How charming!
Yeah, super cool Mat but yes I agree! She was walking by my side and she was on a flexi, and the lead was slacking - silly man!
And haha Dave I think I might have! It's gonna be awkward if I see him again I started walking back from the field as it was getting dark and didn't wanna bump into trouble, especially with all these dogs being taken!
He's not the first weirdo encounter I've had Janey! luckily I keep fit by running so if I meet him again I could run away
Hahaha Wendy and Mark! Not quite a trench coat! He was in some kinda camo; he was probably in the grass!!!

Re: How charming!
Wouldn't worry too much. The mouthy ones are usually just that....all mouth. I'd bet if he does have a monster at all it will be a dog......either one on a lead or one he married.
