Re: blackberry curves users
Mate, I used a curve for 18 months. I loved it at first, but problems started with stuff like that, then my blackberry id corrupted and couldn't access the appworld, the scroll cursor packed in and problem after problem surfaced.
I fixed it by recycling it and buying a unlocked Sony Xperia U for 180 quid, and after twelve months with that on Android I will never look at a Blackberry again.

Re: blackberry curves users
i loved my old blackberry i had it for 3 year without a problem did a upgrade it's been problem after problem i just phone them up and they told me to do a factory reset it look like it work
Re: blackberry curves users
You would not believe the number of factory resets I had to do. Really annoying setting everything back up again and downloading all the apps again (and it was the factory resets that messed up my blackberry id, with my network blaming Rim and Rim blaming my network!).
They really lost the plot with BB6 and 7. I've heard rumours BB10 is leaps and bounds ahead but I'm sticking with Android now, they've lost my custom for good!

Re: blackberry curves users
Have you tried taking the battery out, fixes a lot of bb problems. I've got a Bold and I find the new site harder to read than the old way

Re: blackberry curves users
Did you download a software that was too new for the phone because that can be the cause of that particular problem(I work with phones)

Re: blackberry curves users
i'm in proper debt at the moment i cant afford to buy a new one if it carry on i will get them to swap it
Re: blackberry curves users
In my experience, the curve is no end of niggles. If they'll swap it for an Android or the new Nokia Windoze phone I'd snap their hand off if I were you!
