Disgusting Story, Disgusting People

Sorry if these stories offend anyone. I find them hard to read myself.

It's pretty much summed up in the title isn't it. I hate these things but I'm compelled to read them. If the public could look at the bigger picture of how badly Staffords are treated it would be a lot easier to understand why some of them are unable to deal with certain things.

That's how I feel Jason. How anyone gets satisfaction out of this kind of thing is beyond me!

If the dog would have tried to defend itself it would have been PTS for being a dangerous animal and totally demonised in the papers.

People like this really need to be hanged. If they can do this to a dog they clearly have issues, so what good are they to society or human race?

I really worry about the state of humans.

this is horrible, its not far from me is Sheffield...........feels like its happened on my door step!!

It happened just down the road from me seen it earlier

I saw this today on the BBC news website and god help me I had to read it.

Oh I so hope they were wrong and that this poor dog expired very soon after his beating and didn't suffer for long. I also hope to God that this poor dog wasn't stolen.

Oh whatever, it doesn't bear thinking about. What is WRONG with people who would do such a thing?

The people who did this must have something seriously wrong with them IRS so evil and messed up. That poor poor dog.
I hope they find them and severely punish them

It must have been on the Local News too, aswell as the other topic I posted about the little dogs Wonky, because my Mum knew about it.

Has anyone noticed there has been a decrease in the "Staffy Attack" stories but massive increase in the "Badly Treated Staffy" stories...

Maybe it's starting to become more apparent that it's our own fault as people.

Come to think of it - most preferable would be NO Staffy stories at all, unless in the most favourable of lights. Unfortunately, good news is no news these days.

This story is disgusting!

Seen in the local paper that apparently the owner of the staff has been traced, but they still have no clue who's done it though

Jeez, what a nightmare for the owner. Initially it struck me as one of those crazy stories were the owner abused his pet and was involved with it's death, we've all seen them. It's even worse if it was from a loving home

unfortunately dog thefts is very very common thing around here, most though are never heard of again but a few stories like this have happened before.

Scary considering it was across the road form where my OH works, so just down the road from where we live and we regularly walk round there

there was one a while back in Huddersfield and a staffy cross had been hung from a tree and had been stabbed in the face......they thought he may have been used as a bait dog! luckily he survived and was able to be rehomed

According to fb an arrest has been made but he's out on bail!!!!!!

People who carry out acts like this are the lowest of the low and they should be treated as such.

I keep wishing for a general shift in the way society views these people. The punishments handed out for this kind of thing would be laughable if it weren't so sad.

yes we were sick to our stomachs when we heard of what had happend they got the b****** who did it
