Re: dog food!
I highly recommend the James Wellbeloved. Pets at Home do two bags for £13 which is good. I'd really avoid ProPlan, I bought a big bag a while back for Logan thinking "if it's expensive it'll be good" only to find it's nothing special. Smelt weird. Logan hated it and point blank refused to eat it. Total waste of money.
There is also a lot of controversy with Purina and animal testing.

Re: dog food!
Logan goes daft for the Ocean White Fish and Rice! He's a picky eater too but he absolutely loves it. Because the deal is 2 bags for £13 I get one fish and one duck and vegetable and it means he gets a change after a while and it keeps him interested.

Re: dog food!
There's a Pets at Home store a few miles from my house so I just nip down there.
Logan gets a tin of sardines once a week. Loves em. Makes sure it's in olive oil though. The brine wouldn't be good for them.

Re: dog food!
I feed izzy JWB too. With it there is a puppy and junior range so they can grow with it if they enjoy it which is great!
Definitely try your local vets first, they're usually well priced but if not the pets at home offer is online too

Re: dog food!
I would definitely recommend the James Welbeloved if you cant get hold of anything else. It is a very good food and hypoallergenic. Rocky was on this food for a good while which he thrived on and he then got fed up with it so we swapped to Barking Heads.

Re: dog food!
Once or twice a week with sardines no brine ones as Matt said, as well as the oil ones you can use the tomato sauce ones
