Today's Social Outing

Shame Loki couldn't be let off the lead to play, but most of it was on the lead anyway, so lots of interacting with the other dogs. Loki bonded pretty well with a JRT named Buddy, they were walking together nicely and the woman was really nice, made us feel welcome

But he calmed down after a while.

I love JRT's, I really think that'll be the breed of dog I resscue to live with Logan. I've always loved them.

Thanks he was terribly-behaved at first, just with all the pulling and excitability, but he calmed right down and enjoyed being around all the other dogs even though he didn't get to run around and play. He's exhausted after that

hi tara know it very well,used to fish there a lot when i lived in liverpool,i also went there a lot when i was a kid when we visited my nan in wavertree,lot of good memories,especially in the caves ha

This is when he was whining because all the other dogs except him and a Greyhound couldn't be let off the lead, he started crawling towards them and crying

Tara he's looking amazing!! Really handsome boy! I've got such a soft spot for brindle's.. hmm

Looks like there was a good mixture of all dog breeds there, all shapes and sizes.

Nah, pretty sure she's a Doberman but not completely sure. 19 weeks old though. She did NOT like Loki at first...I think she had a crush on him towards the end though, she wouldn't leave him alone

I wondered if it was Manchester Terrier as well - having had Dobes in the past she didn't look quite right, but she's young yet.

Well done Loki for not being cowed by the Newfoundland. Kuchar meets the same Newfie occasionally (not the one in your photos, a local one!) and although he always wants to play with any dog he comes across, the Newfie worries him just a bit as he is the size of a house!

Anyway, it looks as if Loki had a GREAT time, all that socialisation, Staffs can't get enough of it can they, and the more the better. Loki loved the dalmation didn't he?

Yeah it's hard to tell because Dobermans are so thin and terrier like when there young..

You know Dobermans better than me so maybe she's not, but she's only young, so that's what I was told anyway. Ah, Loki loves the big dogs. We met two big dogs in one day when he was young and tiny, and ever since then he was fine because one of them became his best friend. We met a Great Dane a while back and he had the best play ever . He did love the Dalmation though, and so did I, because he was the only dog besides Loki that wasn't perfectly behaved. Small mercies
